PARK MAINTENANCE

Living in a community requires effort from all of us. So lets take some pride in our homes and pick up after ourselves. This would include keeping park areas clean of cans around the picnic tables and common areas.

Once again PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pick up after your pets and take the waste home to dispose. It is not that difficult.

STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

Here we goooo…The Canucks are in the Playoffs!! We are working on setting up the TV at the Hall to host watch parties for the Canucks Games. Keep an eye out for the sandwich board with more information once available.

COMMUNITY PLANTER BOXES

The planter boxes in the far corner of the Park are available for you to start growing your veggies! Please get in touch with Wendy at Sterling Management to get yourself set up for the season. For a $20.00 fee a planter box can be yours for the year. Wendy Nunez: 778-576-1547

SPRING CLEANUP

Due to some unforeseen complications we are still in the process of figuring out when and how the spring cleanup will be happening. Please check the digital board for any updates.

SPEEDING IN THE PARK

We have noticed that the rules of the road are starting to be recognized, however please let your delivery services that there is a speed limit in the park. Kids are out playing and there are fur babies everywhere.

On another note, if you have an electric bicycle you are bound by the rules of the road. There have been complaints about someone riding an electric bike driving through the park at a high rate of speed, ignoring the stop signs. If this is you, you are seen. Proper steps will be taken.

PETS AND FUR BABIES

By Law, we as pet owners HAVE to pick up after our dogs. We also have to keep our pets out of peoples gardens and the common area flower beds. We have plenty of green grass in the park.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Would you like to get more involved with the park? Maybe serve a hotdog or two. Get hold of us and we could find the right event for you.

HALL RENTAL AVAILABLE

Do you have a family gathering or celebration coming up? Do you need space to host a larger crowd? The Hall is available for rentals. If interested, please get in touch with Sandra Rockwell to get booking details. Phone: 778-227-9934

BLOCK WATCH

The weather is getting nicer, and we have a tendency to leave out belongings outside. This may attract some individuals and your things may disappear. Lets be proactive, and keep the temptation at bay, but also pay attention to the strangers walking around the park that might not belong here. All it requires is a simple “How are you doing? Are you looking for someone particular?” You never know, they could actually be lost!. If it is suspicious, call or text Sherry Ackles at 604-809-2270
